Northland Ventures LLC, doing business as Jakten ("Jakten," "we," "us," or "our"), respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the information entrusted to us.

This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, how we protect it, and the choices available to our customers.

3. Customer Project Data

Jakten Platform is designed so that Customer project information generally remains within systems selected and controlled by the Customer.

Unless the Customer separately elects a hosted service offered by Jakten in the future, Customer project information is not routinely transmitted to Jakten.

Estimates

Risk registers

Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) libraries

Company standards

Historical project information

Reports

Resource plans

Cashflow data

Configuration

Other project information created by the Customer

Jakten does not intentionally collect Customer project content as part of routine:

Software activation

Subscription validation

Seat management

Commercial licensing

Customer project information may only be shared with Jakten when:

The Customer explicitly requests technical support;

The Customer voluntarily uploads files or diagnostic information; or

Disclosure is otherwise required by applicable law.

4. How We Use Information

Jakten uses collected information to:

Provide commercial licensing

Authenticate users

Activate subscriptions

Validate commercial entitlements

Administer Seat assignments

Process subscription renewals

Improve product quality

Provide customer support

Respond to legal obligations

Protect the security of Jakten services

We do not sell Customer information to third parties.

5. Third-Party Services

Jakten utilizes certain third-party providers to operate portions of our business.

These may include providers of:

Cloud hosting

Authentication

Documentation hosting

These providers process information in accordance with their own privacy policies and applicable law.

Customers remain responsible for securing systems under their own control, including customer-hosted deployments.

Provide commercial services

Administer subscriptions

Maintain licensing records

Comply with legal obligations

Resolve disputes

Prevent fraud

Support materials voluntarily provided by Customers are retained only as long as reasonably necessary to resolve the associated issue unless otherwise required by law.

9. International Transfers

Jakten primarily operates from the United States.

Information may be processed in jurisdictions where Jakten or its service providers operate.

Jakten takes reasonable measures to protect information transferred across jurisdictions consistent with applicable law.

10. Your Rights

Subject to applicable law, Customers may request to:

Access information held by Jakten

Correct inaccurate information

Update account information

Delete information where legally permissible

Obtain information regarding our privacy practices

Certain information may be retained where required for legal, accounting, licensing, fraud prevention, or contractual purposes.

11. Children's Privacy

Jakten Platform is intended for professional business use.

Our products and services are not directed toward children under thirteen (13) years of age, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

12. Changes to this Privacy Policy

Jakten may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.

When material changes are made, Customers may be asked to review and accept the updated Privacy Policy before continuing to use commercial features of Jakten Platform.
