Example: Acme Construction purchases 5 Risk seats for five people. That implies office deployment — one shared company deployment, not five separate activations on five isolated PCs.
4. When to choose single-user
Choose single-user when:
- One person uses Jakten on one Windows PC
- All work happens on that same machine
- No coworkers need separate logins on separate PCs

5. When to choose office deployment
Choose office deployment when:
- Two or more people need Jakten on separate Windows PCs
- You want one shared company database and project library
- An administrator will manage users and seats centrally

Prerequisites: A Windows server or always-on office PC, network access from workstations to the server, and IT cooperation for firewall rules (Network requirements).
6. SQL Server requirement
If your IT policy requires SQL Server for application databases:
- Release 1 GA supports single-user and office profiles on your own infrastructure
- SQL Server full operational deployment is planned (not GA)
- Contact [email protected] for roadmap guidance — do not assume SQL Server path is available at purchase
