1. Overview
This guide deploys Jakten Platform for a multi-user office: one shared company deployment on an office server (or designated always-on PC), with desktop clients on each workstation.
Activate once on the server — not on each workstation.

3. Prerequisites

4. Install order

5. Server installation
5.1 Install Platform Server
Install Jakten Platform Server on your office server using the installer provided in your commercial package. The Jakten Platform Server Windows Service should start automatically when the server boots.
5.2 Verify the server is running
On the server, confirm the Platform Server service is Running and that workstations can reach it on the configured port (default 4100). Your IT team can use the health-check utility included with Platform Server.
5.3 Server address for workstations
Decide the URL workstations will use — for example http://office-server.yourcompany.local:4100. Share this URL with each user before they install the desktop client.
6. Activate on the server
- On the server, launch Jakten Platform and complete First administrator setup.
- Sign in as administrator.
- Go to Administration → Licensing.
- Enter your activation key and click Activate with key.
- Accept legal agreements when prompted.
One activation key per company deployment.
7. Prepare the company
Before connecting workstations:

8. Workstation installation
For each coworker PC:
- Install Jakten Platform Setup.exe.
- On first launch, choose Connect to existing server.
- Enter the Platform Server URL from your administrator.
- Click Test connection, then Save and restart.
- Sign in with user credentials from your administrator.
To change the server later: Settings → Connection Settings.
Coworkers do not activate or run first-time company setup on workstations.

10. Troubleshooting
