1. Purpose
This guide is for coworkers who use Jakten Risk on a shared office deployment. Your company administrator handles purchase, activation, users, and seats. You install the desktop client, connect to the office server, and sign in.
2. What you need from your administrator

You do not need the company activation key unless your administrator explicitly asks you to perform activation (unusual on office deployments).
3. Install Jakten Platform
- Download Jakten Platform Setup.exe using the link from your administrator or onboarding email.
- Run the installer on your Windows workstation (Windows 10 or 11, 64-bit).
- Launch Jakten Platform from the Start Menu.
4. Connect to the office server
On first launch:
- Select Connect to existing server.
- Enter the Platform Server URL from your administrator.
- Click Test connection.
- Click Save and restart.
The application restarts and connects to your office server.
To change the server URL later: Settings → Connection Settings.
5. Sign in
- Enter your email and password from your administrator.
- Click Sign in.
Commercial deployments use email and password — not a session picker.
If sign-in fails, contact your administrator to confirm your user account and seat assignment.
6. Open Jakten Risk
- From the Dashboard, open a project you are assigned to.
- If Risk is not visible, ask your administrator to assign Jakten Risk to the project and confirm you have a Risk seat.
- Click the Jakten Risk tab.
Risk opens inside Platform. Your work is stored on the office server, not only on your PC.
7. Daily use
