1. How Jakten Risk works with Platform
Jakten Risk runs inside Jakten Platform as an integrated product module. You do not launch a separate standalone Risk application.

Your project and risk data stay on your deployment (your PC or office server), not on jakten.net.
2. Before you open Risk
Confirm the following with your company administrator:

| Jakten Risk enabled for your company | Administration → Products |
| You have Platform and Risk seats assigned | Administration → Licensing → Seats |
| A Platform project exists and you have access | Dashboard or Projects |
| Jakten Risk assigned to the project | Project workspace |
3. Open Jakten Risk
- Launch Jakten Platform and sign in.
- From the Dashboard, open a project — or go to Projects and select one.
- In the project workspace, click the Jakten Risk tab.
- On first open, Platform prepares the linked Risk workspace for that project.
- Work in Risk: estimates, dependencies, simulations, and reports — all within Platform.
Risk always opens from a project. If the Risk tab is missing, ask your administrator to enable the product and assign it to the project.
4. Typical Risk workflow
After Risk opens:
- Enter or import estimate data
- Add risks and dependencies
- Run simulation
- Review results
- Export a risk report (PDF)
5. Licensing and access
| Situation | What you experience |
|---|---|
| Active subscription | Risk workspace opens normally |
| Grace period | Workspace may open with a warning — validate license before grace expires |
| Expired or not activated | Risk workspace blocked — administrator must activate or renew |
If you work offline for an extended period, ask your administrator to run Administration → Licensing → Validate when internet is available.
6. Troubleshooting
| Symptom | First action |
|---|---|
| No Jakten Risk tab | Ask administrator to enable Risk at company level and assign it to the project |
| License error when opening Risk | Administration → Licensing → Validate or Activate |
| Cannot open project | Confirm you are assigned to the project |
| Blank Risk workspace | Restart Platform; contact support if the issue continues |
| Dependencies matrix looks incorrect after import | Re-run simulation; contact support if values still look wrong |
